Performance Incentive Phase

During the Performance Incentive Phase, NASA intends to provide each Winner of Payload Build Round 2 with a suborbital flight test and the opportunity to compete for an additional award of up to $150,000 each. The amount of the final award is dependent upon the results of the suborbital flight. Field Judges will be present at the suborbital flight and will review the results of the suborbital flight to determine the final award. Winner must generate a map that meets the minimum map quality requirements at an altitude of 250 meters or greater. Prize amounts will be based on the altitude at which the map is delivered to the lander vehicle as shown here:
